My husband and I just spent this past weekend here for our wedding anniversary. We were also here last year. In reading some of the other reviews, I truly can't believe all the negativity. The hotel, the staff and everything about the Renaissance is incredible!! The hotel is beautiful. The staff are beyond amazing! From check in to check out, our weekend was incredible. I apologize for not remembering names but I especially want to thank the gentleman who checked us in and made the upgrade go smoothly. I want to thank the gentleman who brought out the scooter that was delivered to me and all the help he offered when we realized it was defective lol. I especially want to thank the bartender and the chef at bar up front on the first floor. We spent about an hour there on Saturday night and the bartender was attentive, completely on top of things and very pleasant. The chef, by far, was fantastic!! He not only answered my questions about the menu he also came back out to me to make sure that what I ordered would be perfect for my liking before he brought it out. He then presented this beautiful plate of lump crab sliders that were so incredibly delicious,I wish I could have them every day!! He also came over to us a few times to make sure we were enjoying things which was quite nice. I'm truly sorry I don't remember your name but I will never forget the amazing experience you gave us!! Thank you all again and to anyone looking to stay at this beautiful hotel, please do so! You won't be disappointed!!
