The Franklin's experience is definitely unique. My sister and I arrived at 8:15 AM and there was already a line of approximately 50 people. Fortunately, my sister came prepared with a cooler filled with water, wine, and beer. Once they opened at 11 AM, the line began to move quickly. We made it inside the restaurant by 11:30 and ordered our meat and sandwiches. Franklin's has the best Texas style barbecue I have ever tasted. We tried the beef brisket, pork sausage, and the turkey. In Arkansas, we have more Memphis style barbecue joints. The meat was perfectly seasoned and little need for much barbecue sauce. We enjoyed the potato salad as well. I recommend going on Tuesday or Wednesday as those are the slower days.

After reading a variety of reviews, I decided to check out the Rusty Rudder for myself. I arrived there around 5:00 and was seated in the main bar area. The staff I encountered were awesome. The hostess checked on me several times. My waitress Christine was awesome too. She apologized for not getting to me sooner and was quick getting my drinks before I ordered food. I had their new Luau burger and it was fantastic! It was cooked exactly as I requested and the fries that accompanied it were thin and cooked perfectly. Christine checked on me every time she passed the table. Bottom line, burger was great, beer was cold, and the service was excellent. Looks like they're getting the kinks worked out.

Hands down the best coffee shop I know!!! Love the environment and the staff (greatfood, music, and company is a bonus) you don't have to be afraid to be you while you are here (very hard to come by these days) just pure epic awesomeness every time you come in!!! Don't be iffy to come in just come in trust me you won't regret it!!!!!!!!!!

Honestly, who can say anything bad about spider house. I've been going here for years and it is without a doubt my favorite patio to hang out on. The antique furnishings that have been plucked off your grandma's yard sale make this all the more comfortable for me. No fancy furniture needed to get my 5 stars. No sir-ee.

The show and art were great but ventilation is so poor. Also a little disappointed that when i walked in I had to pay a cover fee on top of the ticket i bought for the show. I did ask one of the employees if I could nab a poster off the wall and he helped tear it off for me, so i can vouch for friendly staff :^)

Okay, I've been to a bunch of movie theaters. I love the Drafthouse but holy crap is this theater high end! Oh, my God! Puffy leather recliners. A tray that pivots over your lap. Holy crap! $9 for a matinee is a little steep but for real it's worth it. Totally impressed. Doesn't have the character of the Drafthouse. But, who cares? I was watching a movie on a giant screen with state of the art sound in a recliner! Worth the drive just to see what a really high end movie experience can be. Go now!!!! They have good coffee!

The staff at this hotel are the best I've ever encountered. From Kendall texting to wish us a safe trip to Austin before we left our house to Chris Stibick jumping in when he saw me in the lobby having issues with my digital key on my phone. Thank you Chris for fixing that for me. I didn't even have to ask for assistance, because the staff was always one step ahead of me on everything. Ramon from valet parking was friendly and great. Bryana texting to make sure we had everything and when I did have a question Chip texted back within seconds with a response. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Loved the shower. This is now my all time favorite hotel in Austin!! Thank you for a great stay Hilton Austin!!

This property is the epitome of customer service. At the service desk, the representatives leave their posts behind the counter to meet those in line face to face with welcoming smiles. The concierges go above and beyond to help with anything guests may need, and they do it with such happiness. They were wonderful with my children, 8 & 11, and offered many options for age-appropriate entertainment for them while I attended a 4-day conference. On the fourth day, the concierge supervisor, Sheena, who had a conversation with my kids and found out what little foodies they are, had a snack delivered to our room. It included truffles, macarons, a chocolate guitar filled with snack mix, and a sweet hand-written & illustrated note. Just the sweetest!! The rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable with classy, contemporary decor. While in classes for my conference, I was able to communicate with housekeeping through the Marriott app to let them know what I needed, and they delivered it at a time I specified. The meeting facilities were more than adequate with no issues with projectors, seating, space, etc. The food service staff was very efficient and friendly, and the food they prepared was delicious. They easily accommodated those with special dietary needs and provided important ingredient information with signage on the buffet lines. As a person with food allergies, I was so appreciative of that. Overall, I would venture to say this was probably the most pleasurable hotel stay I ever had, and I travel several times a year, both for business & personal reasons. While the facilities themselves were top-notch, the shining star was most definitely the efficient, accommodating staff. Thank you for all you do; you do it very, very well!

Was here in the late 70s to late 80s .Madison square garden was were I hung out and watched MTV first moment. Screen as big as a drivin with bleachers. Lonestar bear and the nicest bar tender. Carolyn. the good days

I came here with my sons 4th class and was very impressed at their level of organization with such a large crowd of kids. The docents are very helpful and knowledgeable. The interaction level for kids is great and the walk through the museum is enjoyable. We saw two movies and I was impressed at the details and layout of the film as well as how well it kept the kids and adults engaged. The museum is meticulously well kept and a pleasure to visit.

Last weekend I took my 4 yr old son to iFly for our 2nd flight for us both. The iFly staff is so awesome and really does some fun stuff custom to your level of experience and comfort. Can't wait for our 3rd flight!

I love taking the day to spend at the Wildflower Center! It is one of our go-to spots in Austin. The kids love to run and explore, smell flowers and chase butterflies. When they get hot, we splash around in the water and hide behind the waterfall, or explore new books in the Little House. We usually pack a picnic and walk out to the swings (might be my personal favorite spot!). Great family fun and always something in bloom to see!

This place is amazing for kids all ages; They have so much stuff for kids to do! Different sections of the building are dedicated to different types of science and play activities. The first floor has a lot of science/physics-based experiments/free play areas which is fantastic for small children. There's also a nice-sized outdoor playscape for the kids to burn up all that energy. They have tables inside for snacks. The only food they have there is from the vending machines however, you can bring your own food which makes this trip inexpensive at all! They charge $10 for 2 and up, which I think is very fair because you get a lot for your money. A must go place; my family and I loved it!

I do need a mall GPS for this place (I get lost). Happily, on this trip the kiosk people didn't attack me with samples as I walked by. Yeah! Could use another fine restaurant or two or a bar/appetizer place. Also, why is there never a pharmacy in malls? It would make for one-stop shopping.

The young men trying to raffle the Toyota truck would not stop pestering me even after I explained that my brother's ex boyfriend gave him The Clap in the bed of a Tundra. Other than that, and the bathroom walls which resemble Jackson Pollock paintings(please hire better custodians), this mall is great!
